Richard Saunders Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Richard D. Saunders who entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at the Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina at the age of 56.

His life will be celebrated on Saturday, April 18, 2026 beginning at 1:00pm at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. A viewing and visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, April 17, 2026 from 6:00pm-8:00pm.

Professional Services of Comfort have been entrusted to Adkins Memorial Funeral Home in Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
