It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mother Mary Louise Lamb Overton who entered into eternal rest on Monday, February, 23, 2026 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, at the age of 86.

Her life will be remembered and celebrated on Monday, March 2, 2026 beginning at 2:00pm at Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. A viewing and visitation will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 1, 2026 from 4:00pm until 6:00pm.
