Mother Doris James Greene

So I'll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it someday for a crown…..

Our beloved Mother, Doris James Greene exchanged her cross for her crown on Wednesday, October 9, 2024. We loved her dearly, but our Heavenly Father loved her best. 
 

We shall celebrate her life on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church in Elizabeth City, North Carolina beginning at 11:00am. She shall rest at Westlawn Memorial Cemetery in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. A viewing and visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday, October 18, 2024 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm.
