It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Jo-Ann D. Sivels  who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at her residence. 

Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 10, 2025 beginning at 1:00pm at Centerville Chapel AME Church in Chesapeake, Virginia. She will lie in repose from 12:00pm until time of service. She will be laid to rest in the Centerville Chapel AME Church Cemetery.

Professional services of comfort and love have been entrusted to Adkins Memorial Funeral Home of Elizabeth City, North Carolina.
