It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Jean Cowell Harris who entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Sentara Albemarle Hospital in Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Celebration of Life Services will take place on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Good Hope A.M.E Zion Church beginning at 11:00am. She will lie in state from 10:00am until time of service. Interment will follow at the Cowell Family Cemetery in Moyock, North Carolina. A viewing and visitation will take place at the funeral home on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 4:00pm-7:00pm.
