Janet Marie Lee

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Janet Marie Lee who entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 20, 2026 at her residence. 
 

Her life will be celebrated on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 beginning at 12:00pm in the chapel of Adkins Memorial Funeral Home. Please remember her loving family in your thoughts and prayers. 

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Troyvon N. Eason, and granddaughter, Maya
Alexander.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory her daughters, Lakiesha M. Eason (Troy) and Takenya
H. Stanley; her grandchildren, Clinesha Turner, GKyla Eason, Jasmine (Leandre) McGill, and a
very special grandson, Jaquan Armstrong; along with three great-grandsons and five great-
granddaughters. She is also survived by her sister, Deniece Overton (Ron Lee) of New Jersey.
Janet also leaves behind a host of devoted friends, including Diane, Kristie, Terry, Vernon, Bruce,
Stephanie, and many others.
Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to live on through her children,
grandchildren, and all who knew and loved her.
