It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Georginna  A. Hardy who entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Vidant Chowan Hospital in Edenton, North Carolina.

Celebration of Life Services will take place on Thursday, February 4, 2021 in the Alvin M. Griffin Chapel located at Adkins Memorial Funeral Home at 12:00pm. A walk-through viewing for the public  will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at the funeral home. We will be adhering to all COVID-19 restrictions.  Masks are required for all services.

Georgianna is survived by her loving daughters Anna Halsey (Kenneth Sr) of Herford NC, Brenda Boone (Calvin Sr) of Herford NC. Four grandchildren Calvin Lee Boone Jr (Carlynn) of Elizabeth City NC, Alveta Kay Boone of Raleigh NC, Kenneth Halsey Jr of Hertford NC and Kendall Halsey of Chesapeake VA. Three Great grandchildren Kahlia NychelleBoone, Amari Kahlil Boone, and Kamoni Lee Boone. Two brothers David Lee Midgett of Kilgore Texas, Charles Forehand (Late Namoni) of Hertford NC, And five sisters Marjorie M. Hassel (Late James) of Hertford NC, Carolyn M. Langston (Charles) of Hertford NC, Doris Hardy of Edenton (Late Reginald) of Herford NC, Annie Harvey of Edgewood Maryland, Carrie Davis (Gerald) Fayetteville NC. And a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She will be truly missed by her family, church family and friends.
