It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. George Washington Harris who entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 20, 2023 at the Chesapeake Regional Medical Center in Chesapeake, Virginia. Celebration of Life Services will commence on Monday, November 27, 2023 at New Sawyer's Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Camden, North Carolina beginning at 11:00 in the morning with Rev. D. Stefan Gregory delivering the Eulogy. He will lie in state from 10:00am until time of service. A viewing and visitation will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, November 26, 2023 from 3:00pm-5:00pm. He will be laid to rest next to his loving wife, Mrs. Jean Cowell Harris.
