It is with great sadness that we announce the earthly transition of Mrs. Florence W. Johnson who gained her Heavenly wings on Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation Center. Celebration of life services will commence on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Twelve o'clock in the afternoon at the funeral home with Pastor Curtis Stallings, Officiating and Pastor Cynthia Stallings delivering words of comfort to the family.

Interment will follow at the Cedarwood Cemetery in Hertford, North Carolina.

She was married to the late Charlie Johnson. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Jessie Robinson (Oliver) of Elizabeth City, N.C. Other survivors included a devoted niece and goddaughter, Mrs. Cynthia Stallings (Curtis) of Hertford, NC,; nieces, Ms. Patricia Locket of Huntsville, Alabama; and Mrs. Norma Burnett (Donald) of Irvington, New Jersey and a host of relatives and friends. A long-time friend and classmate, Ms. Blanche Dean.
