It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Antionette Mason who answered the Master's Call on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Sentara Leigh in Norfolk, Virginia. Graveside Services will take place on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 12:00pm at the Robinson Family Cemetery in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Celebrating the Life and Legacy of District Elder Pastor Antoinette Yvette “Vet” Robinson-Mason
District Elder Pastor Antoinette Yvette “Vet” Robinson-Mason was born on November 19, 1963 in Onslow County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Mother M. Elizabeth Marshall- Robinson and the late Clifford R. Robinson, Sr.
She entered eternal rest on March 22, 2021 at Sentara General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Vet gave her life to Christ at an early age and united with the Evening View Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Wilson Johnson. Later, she became a part of the Church of God in Christ with her brother, Dr. C. R Robinson. She then became a part of the J.O. Randolph S.E. District Annual Conference of the U.A.F.W.B. Inc. under the leadership of her brother, The Right Rev. Dr. C. R. Robinson, DD. She answered the call to ministry on the 2nd Sunday in June 1984 at the Greater Mt. Sinai Church in Jacksonville, NC. She was in ministry for 36 years.
Vet graduated from Jacksonville High School in 1981, and she was united in holy matrimony to Lester G. Mason on March 15, 1982. Their union was blessed with three children. After touring with him in the United States Marine Corps., she relocated to VA Beach, VA where she pursued her career in nursing. She received her nursing degree at Norfolk State University. She worked for 35 years up until a week before her passing. She was employed at Golden Care Private Nursing Facility in Virginia Beach, VA. She completed her biblical studies at Norfolk State University and received a master’s in Theology. She was faithful in the Virginia District Union and the Annual Conference.

Vet leaves to cherish one daughter, Pastor Rashida Mason (Atlanta, GA), two sons Pastor Keaire Mason (College Park, GA) and Raheed Mason (VA Beach, VA), her beloved mother M. Elizabeth Marshall-Robinson (Jacksonville, NC), two brothers Presiding Bishop Dr. C. R. Robinson & The Reverend Clifford R. Robinson, Jr. (both of Jacksonville, NC), three sisters Gloria Adams (Tommy) and Marie Robinson (both of Jacksonville, NC), as well as Evangelist Dwanda Robinson (Kennesaw, GA), four grandchildren (Carmen, Aaliyah, Elijah, and Melani Mason). One uncle Deacon O.B. Robinson (Mother Lucille Robinson) of Baltimore, MD. One aunt Eldress Marion Robinson-Williams (Baltimore, MD). A host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins and friends.
Adkins Memorial Funeral Home has been charged to serve the Mason and connecting families with excellence and care during their time of bereavement.
