Cheryl Renee Springs

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ms. Cheryl Renee Springs of Moyock, North Carolina. 
 

A Private Memorial Service celebrating her life will take place on Saturday, June 25, 2022  at the funeral home. The service will be for family only. Flowers and or cards for the service can be sent directly to the funeral home, per the request of the family. 

Ms. Cheryl Renee Springs, 58 of Moyock,NC was called home to the Lord on June 14, 2022. Cheryl was born on December 9,1963 to the late Bennie Springs and Ruby Sutton. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Alexander.  

Cheryl known to many by her strong wit and ability to overcome some of life’s most difficult challenges held on to that tenacity to the very end. Her unpredictable facial expressions and humor definitely deemed her as one of a kind. 

Cheryl was born and raised in Nassau County, New York where she attended grade school, junior high and high school. She attended trade school and worked for the courts as a stenographer before ultimately retiring from the food service business.  

She loved the outdoors and would enjoy spending time in her front yard, playing volleyball with her children and grandchildren, relaxing at the beach and exploring different eateries. She was a dedicated thrift shopper and often purchased items to label them “conversing pieces” just to justify the expense. 

She leaves to cherish in her memories 5 children: William Springs, Kimberly Goodall (Shaun), Tywan Springs, Tiffany Springs, and Emani Jones. 7 Grandchildren: Kassidy, Kaliyah, Karter, Laylah, Tywan Jr., Tyler, Kairo, and Taylor. Fiancé Aubrey Everett, cousins and friends. 

Cheryl always presented herself as tough and many felt that strong presence but deep down she was warm and affectionate; a great mom and friend and she will truly be missed to all who knew and loved her.
