Bonita Lauraine Sutton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bonita L. Sutton, a beloved mother and grandmother, who found her eternal rest on October 27, 2023. She was very much loved and will be missed terribly.  We also rejoice, however, because we know she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, sitting on a bed one Sunday morning in 1998.  She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Van and Nellie Alexander, and son, Carl Alexander.  Left to cherish her memory are her son and daughter, Edward and Huredine Alexander, four grand princesses, Nikala, Jasmine, Jaidyn and Candace Alexander, and her sister, Mrs. Mary Floyd, and other family and friends.  A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 4th at 1pm, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Elizabeth City, North Carolina with Pastor Keith Smith bringing words of comfort to the family and friends.
