Anthony Dexter Jacox, Sr.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Anthony Dexter Jacox, Sr; who entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, North Carlina at the age of 69.

His life will be celebrated on Saturday, May 30, 2026 beginning at 12:00pm at St. James A.M.E. Zion Church in Elizabeth City, NC. A viewing and visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2026 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

*The family will receive friends at the home of his brother, Craig (Ann) Jacox beginning on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm through Thursday, May 28, 2026*
